Are You Plagued By Fear, Stress, Worry?

Are you feeling anxious or tense? Are you a worrier? Do you suffer from your nerves? Do you get easily flustered? Is stress and integral part of your life? If you believe yourself to be suffering from any of these afflictions, then you’re letting your mind play tricks on you. Your inner self cannot be nervous, anxious, stressed or fearful. The real you is simply not capable of suffering from stress or worry. All these issues are symptoms of an over-active personality – when you feel that you’re suffering from them, it’s only your personality tripping you up.

You’ve got to understand that your personality – from the Latin persona, meaning a mask – is just a mask that not only hides the inner you from everyone else, it has conned you into believing that it is, in fact, who you are. However, psychology tells us that your personality is an ‘album’ of snapshots of events and people that impressed you during your childhood – what we normally call our formative years. You took snapshots of these things because they were big enough to make you feel good or bad about yourself at the time. Unfortunately, psychology also tells us that the normal mind is far more likely to dwell on the negative rather than the positive snapshots.

Your subconscious mind is even still obsessed with those photographs and this obsession is what gives life to your personality. Basically, your personality is not real – it may have got you to where you are and you may be very fond of it – but be careful you don’t fall in love with an illusion.

To rid your daily life of the afflictions from which only your imaginary personality can suffer – stress, worry, anxiety, self-doubt, fear, loneliness – you need to move beyond that personality, your perceived weaknesses and strengths. You need to go searching within for the inner you because not only does the real you not experience worry, stress, doubt, not only is the real you fearless, the real you is able to achieve effortless success and happiness. The great thing is that you don’t have to look far to discover the inner you – it is crying out to be uncovered. You’ll find the real you in the peace of a reflective moment, in the experience of one of those perfect “natural high” moments that we’ve all experienced at some point in our lives – where peace and contentment reign.

But you don’t want or need to wait for the next peak moment to get over the illusions of stress and worry. You can do that right now by practicing some meditation. When you meditate you can start to understand that stress, tension and fear are nothing more than poisonous thoughts and that a clear and focused mind (the real you) simply has not time for that kind of rubbish – it has much more pressing work to do…Directory..Theblogcatalog Copy & Paste Articles
